Authorities found the body of a missing swimmer in the Tennessee River on Sunday.
Joshua Lee Chaney, 43, of Russellville, was seen Saturday, swimming from a beach area when witnesses said he began to struggle before going under. He never resurfaced.
Multiple agencies responded, including the Florence Police Department, Lauderdale County EMA and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Maine Patrol Division.
Chaney's body was located and pulled from the water around 11:40 a.m., approximately 200 yards from where he was last seen.
