The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office is looking for several members of a family after they said they found evidence that foul play could be involved.
Aurelia Choc Cac, 40, Niurka Zuleta Choc, 17 and Anthony Garcia Choc, 2, were last seen around 3 p.m. Friday at their home in the 9000 block of Ben Hamilton Road.
Aurelia Choc Cac, the mother, was wearing a maroon jacket with tan joggers. Nuirka Zuleta Choc was wearing a black top and plaid pants. Anthony Garcia Choc was wearing a cartoon-character hoodie and blue jeans.
Deputies were first dispatched to the home after a call about a suspicious disappearance of the mother and her two children. They discovered signs of a struggle inside the house, but did not find the family.
A person of interest, Juan Antonio Garcia, 30, has ties to Amarillo, Texas.
“We do believe the mother, daughter and son were taken against their will, and we believe they could be in danger,” the sheriff’s office stated in a press release.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call authorities.
