The SEC on Monday announced the kickoff time for the 2024 Iron Bowl would be in a usual slot but a new network for the first time in a long time.
Per the SEC, the November 30 Iron Bowl will air at 2:30 p.m. on ABC from Byrant-Denny Stadium, the first Auburn-Alabama game to air on that network since 1994.
Alabama has won four straight games in the rivalry, including a four-overtime thriller and last year's 27-24 win at Jordan-Hare last season on a miraculous fourth-and-goal from the 31-yard line touchdown from Jalen Milroe to Isaiah Bond with 32 seconds left. The 2023 victory kept the Crimson Tide's College Football Playoff hopes alive.
This year's matchup could also have championship stakes. Alabama is currently looking at a spot in the expanded College Football Playoffs, but a third loss on the record would likely end first-year Alabama football coach Kalen DeBoer's second-straight CFP appearance.
This week, Alabama will take on Oklahoma on the road, while Auburn will host Texas A&M at home.
