"A Midsummer Night's Dream" is a comedy penned by William Shakespeare around 1595. To put the time frame into a modern-day Alabama perspective, it was written 100 years after Columbus discovered America and almost 180 years before America's Declaration of Independence.

The plot is set in Athens, Greece, and revolves around a complicated wedding and marriage.

The play has been adapted into a film and songs. One version even relocated the plot setting to modern-day Los Angeles. That site enabled plenty of complicated weddings and marriages.

"I have had a most rare vision. I had a dream, past the wit of man to say what dream it was… The eye of man hath not heard, the ear of man hath not seen, man's hand is not able to taste, his tongue to conceive, nor his heart to report, what my dream was."
