After star outfielder/catcher Ike Irish heard his name called in the first round of the MLB Draft on Sunday night as the fifth highest drafted player in program history, Auburn baseball heard six names called on Monday with Eric Snow, Dylan Watts, Cam Tilly, Sam Dutton, Hayden Murphy and Cade Fisher getting selected on Day 2.

Making his way to Auburn in the transfer portal after two seasons at USF, Snow was picked up by the Toronto Blue Jays in the sixth round as the 172nd overall pick. In his lone season on the Plains, Snow hit .307 with 66 hits, eight home runs and 34 RBIs, and is a big blow to the Tigers’ roster for next season. His slot value is $383,600.

Playing two seasons at Auburn after transferring in from the JUCO level, the right-handed pitcher in Watts was 2-1 as a junior with 28 strikeouts and a 7.38 ERA in 28 innings pitched. Like Snow, Watts was picked up by the Blue Jays in the seventh round with the 202nd overall pick. His slot value was $299,900.

The second pitcher off the board for Auburn on Monday was Tilly, who is heading to New York with the Mets as the 223rd pick in the seventh round. The right-hander was a valuable relief pitcher who took over starting duties in the latter half of the season, and posted a 5.48 ERA and 58 strikeouts in 46 innings pitched. The sophomore turned in a 3-3 record on the season. His slot value is $254,000.

The Tigers’ ace pitcher from their Super Regional run, Dutton came off the board in the 10th round with the 290th pick going to the Oakland Athletics. The LSU transfer posted a 7-3 overall record with an ERA of 4.31 and 95 strikeouts in 16 starts. His slot value is $194,100.

Murphy’s appearances were limited last season as he posted a 9.45 ERA in just nine appearances. The righty was picked up by the Arizona Diamondbacks with the 453rd pick in the 15th round.

As one of the best freshmen arms in the league in 2023 at Florida – named to the 2023 All-Freshman Team – Fisher transferred to the Plains after two seasons in Gainesville. A Saturday starter for the first half of the season, Fisher came on late as a relief pitcher for the Tigers and posted a 4.68 ERA with 54 strikeouts in 14 appearances. He was picked up by the Boston Red Sox in the 18th round as the 538th overall pick.

Auburn signee Ethan Bingham was selected in the 20th round to the Diamondbacks with the 603rd pick.
