South Alabama signed two players on Wednesday and formally announced four midyear transfers who have been working with the team.

The signees are running back Patrick 'PJ' Martin from De La Salle High in New Orleans and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College linebacker La'Dareyen Craig. Martin rushed for 2,248 yards with 33 rushing touchdowns as a senior. Craig attended high school at Baker High in Mobile and began his college career at South Carolina.

The midyear transfers are wide receiver Jaylon Ivory, who is from Grove Hill and is transferring from Memphis, running back Kentrel Bullock from Ole Miss, South Carolina offensive lineman Jordan Davis and Mississippi State offensive lineman Reed Buys.

Including the December signing period, South Alabama head coach Kane Wommack brought 18 new players into his program.
