South Mobile Republican Women and the public will hear a presentation by Rebecca Watson of Moms for Liberty at a meeting this Thursday at American Legion Post 250 in Theodore.
Social time starts at 5:30 p.m. with the meeting at 6 p.m.
The public is invited. A $15 donation is required. Venmo @SMRW-AL. Also, please bring a canned good donation for homeless outreach.
The speaker, Rebecca Watson, leads Moms for Liberty in Baldwin County. The group has been active in forcing inappropriate material out of children's sections of public libraries under Alabama law. It promotes parents' rights, school choice, and back-to-basics literacy and opposes Common Core and woke ideology.
