Enterprise Police are asking the public to come forward if they have seen a missing toddler within the past 30 days.

Genesis Reid, 2, was reported missing by her mother on Monday, although police are reaching out for clues as to when the child was last spotted in public.

WTVY News 4 reported police did not confirm if the girl's mother, Adrienne Reid, lied about when her daughter disappeared, but they did not dispel speculation on the matter, either. Neighbors told the outlet they haven't seen the child for several weeks.

Adding to suspicion, police said they are not at a point to have mass searches for the girl.

Coffee County District Attorney James Tarbox said his team is also working on the case.

Genesis Reid was reportedly wearing Minnie Mouse pajamas when her mother went to check on her and found she was not in her bed, and the door was open. She will turn 3 next month.

Adrienne Reid has not been accused of wrongdoing by police.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Enterprise Police Department at 334-347-2222.
