First-year head coach Brent Dearmon's program signed 17 players on Wednesday, with 16 signatures coming from high school players. In the early signing period, Dearmon concentrated on signing transfer portal and junior college players.
Overall, Dearmon has added 32 players to the UNA program.

Once again, Cornell Maynor went heavy on the transfer portal to build a recruiting class. The Bulldogs welcome eight transfer portal players, as well as junior college linebacker Tony Overstreet.
Maynor also is developing depth at quarterback with the addition of 6-foot-6 freshman Cory Chavis and transfer portal additions Dustin Fletcher of Northern Illinois and Brian Plummer of Buffalo.
