Nori Thai and Sushi restaurant in Birmingham has closed its dining room after a raid by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), according to the business.

In a letter to the community, Nori said that due to many employees being taken into custody, the changes had to be made.

"We are still navigating what comes next and determining the best way to move forward," the letter stated.

The restaurant is still offering takeout and online delivery with a limited menu.

Nori is located in the Altadena Square shopping center at the corner of Cahaba River Road and Acton Road.
