The Mobile Police Department has taken over the investigation into a threat toward Spring Hill College and St. Paul's School.
The Mobile County Sheriff's Office first received information on Wednesday that a person had made threats to kill children, stating, 'All kids deserve to die a sinner's death!'
The sheriff's office identified a suspect, but when the Mobile Police Department took over the case, they said a female was detained for questioning. They did not name her as a suspect.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
