A man has been charged with cyberstalking after the FBI said he accused federal agencies of corruption and “targeted” U.S. Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon.
Jonathan Matthew Cagle, of Trinity, appeared in federal court on Wednesday, according to WAFF.
The outlet reported that Cagle told the FBI he had been trying to expose corruption for the last four years. Interviews between Cagle and the FBI were played in court, and prosecutors presented screenshots of posts allegedly made by Cagle.
Cagle’s posts included him threatening FEMA after Hurricane Helene, accusing Dhillon of working with Israel to kill Charlie Kirk and attempting to dox Dhillon. However, he posted the wrong address for Dhillon, so officials could not charge him with doxing.
“If Harmeet posts another knitting photo without arresting any bad guys, we’ll Doxx her, her whole family,” one post stated. “We’re done with her Kosher theater.”
With one of his many X accounts, FBI agents testified Cagle accused immigrants of trying to genocide the white race and posted that government officials should be “terrified to come into the office.”
Cagle was denied bond and will be held in jail until his trial. He is considered innocent until proven guilty.
