I’ve seen the enemy up close … coffee-breath close, not sanitized through a remote monitor screen in some cushy Pentagon operations center. I saw him in the Hindu Kush, wearing the uniform I helped put on his back, carrying the rifle I taught him to shoot, eating the chow I shared with him – only to have him slip out at night to plant IEDs (improvised explosive device) for his Taliban brothers using the very gear for which Uncle Sam paid.

That was Afghanistan, 2009-2010. I was embedded as an International Security Assistance Force advisor with the Afghan National Army (ANA). Daytime? They called us “mentor-sahib,” smiling just enough to keep the paychecks coming. Nighttime? Green-on-blue (insider) attacks, “friendly fire” happening.

That’s not bad luck, that’s bad intentions! That’s taqiyya – a Shia doctrine that explicitly permits lying about one’s faith to advance Islam or protect oneself from danger – in action.

Fast forward to last week in Washington, D.C. An Afghan “refugee,” one of the 80,000+ rushed into this country under Joe Biden’s catastrophic 2021 evacuation, ambushes two West Virginia Army National Guardsmen. Proper vetting? Of course not. The same administration that left $85 billion in weapons for the Taliban turned around and flew planeloads of unvetted military-age males straight into the heart of America.

The Obama administration allowed refugee resettlements favoring Muslim countries, but Biden doubled down, throwing open the doors while our borders burned. Our tax dollars paid for the planes, the hotels, the EBT cards. We paid for the invasion, they just opened the gates.

Now one of those “allies” has drawn American blood on American soil. The taqiyya never ends, it just changes zip codes.

This was not a “lone wolf.” Lone wolves don’t have an entire global ideology whispering in their ear that deceiving the infidel is not just permitted, it’s pious. That same doctrine tells them jihad is eternal, that peace treaties with non-Muslims are mere truces until Islam is strong enough to strike.

You must understand they are playing the long game … they are patient the way cancer is patient.

I buried brothers because of these cretins. Good men – fathers, husbands, sons – gunned down by the very soldiers they were trying to help. Now the families of those two West Virginia Guardsmen are living the same nightmare my battle buddies’ families lived: the knock on the door, the folded flag, the empty chair at the table – all because we imported the same enemy we once fought overseas.

This latest attack in D.C. isn’t an anomaly. It’s the plan unfolding exactly as designed. That’s why U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) is absolutely right to go for the jugular. Outlaw Sharia in America. Period.

Sharia is not compatible with the Constitution. It is Islam’s legal and governmental system, and wherever it takes root, liberty dies. Tuberville understands what the D.C. cocktail circuit refuses to admit: This isn’t about “religious freedom,” this is about a totalitarian ideology that demands supremacy, not coexistence.

Alabama must lead the charge. We are not Minnesota. We are not Michigan. We will not become Eurabia 2.0 while the rest of the country sleeps. If the federal government won’t protect us, then we will protect ourselves.

Ban Sharia. Deport the radicals. Shut down the mosques teaching conquest, not neighborliness. Revoke citizenship from anyone who puts Islamic law above the Constitution. No dual allegiance. No taqiyya loopholes. My brothers died fighting this evil over there so we wouldn’t have to fight it here.

Thanks to Obama, Biden, and every treasonous bureaucrat who opened the gates, they’re here now. Listen to them closely the next time one of these “moderate” imams or fresh-off-the-plane “refugees” shrugs and says, “Inshallah,” responding to a question about whether they’ll accept our laws, our culture, or our very right to exist. That phrase doesn’t mean “God willing” in the humble Christian sense (some divine outcome we pray for but cannot control). No. In their mouths “inshallah” is a smirking promise: whatever horror comes next, whatever knife finds an infidel throat, whatever bomb rips through a Christmas market, it’s not their fault, it’s Allah’s will.

Personal responsibility? Honor? Those are Western concepts which don’t not apply when dealing with Islam. When the jihadist pulls the trigger or the vest cord, he doesn’t own the act; he just mouths, “Inshallah,” washing the blood from his hands like Pilate. That’s the trick, the built-in escape hatch Islam hands its soldiers: never take accountability, never feel shame, just blame God and keep marching toward domination.

What religion or culture would take mentally-challenged young girls from an orphanage and put suicide vests on them under their burqa garments, giving them money to go into a marketplace during main shopping times to buy candy, then detonating them amongst their own people?

I’ve heard that “inshallah” phrase a thousand times in Afghanistan, always with the same dead eyes and half-smile, right before another green-on-blue ambush happened or right before another brother came home in a box.

So spare me the lectures about “peaceful Muslims” and “religion of peace.” I’ve seen what “inshallah” really means. It means they’ll smile, they’ll wait, they’ll breed, they’ll vote, they’ll multiply, and one day, when the numbers are right, they’ll finish what they started.

It’s time to choose: America and our God or Islam and their Demon. There can be only one.
