During a recent appearance on Fox Business Network's "The Evening Edit," U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) argued the online Democratic Party fundraising mechanism ActBlue was operating illegally.

According to Alabama's senior U.S. Senator, the ActBlue interface has enabled foreign contributions to flow into Democrat coffers unchecked.

"[W]hat do you make of these accusations against ActBlue?" Fox Business host Elizabeth MacDonald asked. "We've got Jim Jordan, James Comer, they demand they've got to turn over their records on this. Are they going to do it? What do you think?"

Tuberville replied, "Well, where there is smoke, there's fire, Liz. We've known all of this has been going on. We know ActBlue. There is no possible way they can raise the money they've been raising unless they go out of the country, use foreign money. You know, they don't want to clean up their voting rolls. They don't want the SAVE AMERICA Act, no voter I.D., this is just another piece of the puzzle of what the corrupt Democrats do when it comes to elections, and ActBlue is crooked. The problem is nobody will do anything about it, and they'll continue to do it. So why complain about it if we're not going to put anybody's feet to the fire and make them pay the price for breaking the law."

MacDonald said, "So, breaking the law, they're not turning over the records. You know, they claim they were tracking every Venmo donation or cash donation. Do we really believe that they were vetting every donation, likely many from overseas? This could be a broader issue across the Democratic Party, no? Couldn't other Democrat PACs and fundraising platforms catch heat for accepting foreign donations after this?"

Tuberville answered, "Oh, there's no doubt about that. You know, there's people that have been interviewed that said, hey, your name was on ActBlue, so I've never heard of it, but you gave, you know, $20,000.00 in a two-year period over months and months — and so I've never heard of that. It's a scam. It is a complete scam. Nobody follows up on it. It's good that we're talking about it now, especially going into election time. But again, Liz, we can talk about it, we can fuss about it, but nothing is ever done. Nobody is held accountable for this."

"So it's just unfortunate because we don't raise near the money on the Republican side as they do in the Democratic side, and it's all because of greed and the lust for power from the Democrats," he added.
