U.S. Sen Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) described Democrats on Capitol Hill as "full panic" over President Joe Biden’s odds in November’s election while bemoaning the prospect of a Kamala Harris presidency.
After a calamitous showing against former President Donald Trump in a debate, both Republicans and Democrats alike have raised questions regarding Biden’s cognitive ability to run for re-election.
While Republican lawmakers and conservative commentators have observed a perceived decline in Biden's mental faculties for some time, even the most loyal Democratic talking heads are now turning on the president. At the same time, Republicans wait with bated breath on what the Democratic National Convention’s delegates will decide at their annual meeting next month.
During a call with reporters on Wednesday, Tuberville observed that Biden’s declining mental acuity has been covered up by Democrats for a while, most of which are now uncertain about Biden’s chances in a heads-up between him and Trump in November.
“For four years, Democrats and the media have actually lied about Joe Biden’s mental state,” Tuberville said. "We’ve talked about that. But the jig is up. Joe Biden was finally exposed in the debate almost two weeks ago. He is clearly mentally incapable of running our country. You know it’s sad, but that’s the truth. We don’t know who’s running the White House. Is it Dr. Jill [Biden], or Obama, or Pelosi or Schumer? One thing is for sure: Democrats are all complicit in the coverup. Now, the Democrats are in a full panic about the upcoming election. You wouldn’t believe it up here. And Kamala is waiting in the wings, just chomping at the bit for her five seconds of fame.”
“You know it doesn’t matter who the Democrats nominate. Kamala Harris is just as bad as Biden, if not worse. While Joe Biden tries to please California liberals, Kamala is one. Let’s not forget that Kamala Harris has been border czar during the worst border crisis in the history of our country. We don’t have borders. She’s really done a bang-up job by letting more than 12 million illegals invade our country. We’ll see what the Democrats decide to do. Let’s just stay out of their way and let them make their own decisions.”
