During an appearance on Steve Bannon's "War Room," broadcast on Real America's Voice, U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) reacted to revelations from now-former Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard regarding former Biden health adviser Anthony Fauci and his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tuberville said that not only Fauci but also former President Barack Obama should be considered when evaluating past wrongdoings that went unchecked.
"Let's go even before Fauci, which was a disaster," he said. "Millions of people lost their lives. Let's go back to Obama — the time that Tulsi Gabbard about Obama, after he started his reign, going into all of the things he did with illegal migration, things he did with Iran, and then if you turn around, and what he did with the Russia collusion. There are so many people that have broken the law. You know, we've got people in prison that did 10-20% of what these people have done to our country. They broke the law. They thought they were above the law, but they're not."
"You said Anthony Fauci," Tuberville continued. "I'm on the health committee here in the Senate. I went through every one of those hearings and listened to Anthony Fauci lie to the American people for basically a year and a half, two years. He should be in prison. Don't give me this nonsense about being able to be given a pardon. You can probably pardon for a federal crime, but look at the thousands of people he actually let die because of his lies on a state level. So, let's go after him on the state level. You can't get a pardon for that."
"He's a crook," he added. "Obama is a crook. All these people broke the law. Let's put them in jail."
