In a recent appearance on Fox Business Network's "Kudlow," U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) blasted Vice President Kamala Harris for her recent interview with Fox News Channel's "Special Report" anchor Bret Baier, saying she came across like a "crazy ex-girlfriend."

Harris' much-publicized Wednesday interview grabbed headlines and earned high ratings for the Fox News Channel after the presidential hopeful gave one of her few interviews thus far leading up to the November 5 general election.

Unsurprisingly, the 30-minute sit-down was lauded by left-wing media pundits and commentators, who offered a slew of exculpatory opinion articles to either praise Harris's performance or bash Baer's perceived combativeness. Republicans, however, portrayed it as an unmitigated disaster for the vice president, with a cascade of mockery and derision.

During his interview with Kudlow, Tuberville lambasted Harris for her alleged lies during the Baer sit-down, her obsession with former President Donald Trump and her "crazy" demeanor throughout.

"She came across last night like a crazy ex-girlfriend," Tuberville said. And the only thing that we learned was how obsessed, absolutely obsessed she was with Donald Trump. There was no policies. I listened to everything she said about immigration. Now, I've been going through all this for four years in the Senate and listened to all these lies and things that [they] supposedly have done. There wasn't one true thing she said about immigration. I think she's just totally out of touch, and she tries to listen to everybody on her side about, "Hey. Listen, try to switch everything back to Donald Trump. Don't say anything. Blame him.' She played the blame game again. It's not going to work."

Responding to a clip from the interview where Harris refused to give an estimate of the number of illegal aliens in the country, Tuberville went on to mock the Democratic presidential nominee.

"Well, she's not going by any facts, Larry. Ever since she's been running for this office for what, 60, 65 days, they've told her, 'Don't give any numbers out. Don't talk about any numbers,' just flip everything back to Donald Trump, about how all these problems were happening before they took office. They created these problems."

He continued, "Sometimes it sounds like she doesn't know what's going on or what has really happened. She hasn't really studied it. But, I'm telling you, there has been nothing done about immigration in the last four years that the Biden-Harris administration even thought about stopping or trying to correct."
