During a call with reporters on Thursday, U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) argued that protests in Minneapolis have become unlawful and are now being used by illegal aliens and the media to divert attention from the large-scale benefits fraud being uncovered daily across Minnesota.
"Look, in this country, you have the right to peacefully protest. You do not have the right to prevent law enforcement from doing their jobs, as we have been seeing for weeks now," Tuberville said. "In Minnesota, this is happening. That isn't protesting. It's called anarchy, but the media is rushing to cover these so-called protests because they want to distract from the massive fraud committed by illegals taking taxpayer money from all American citizens across this country."
"They've stolen us blind," he added.
The legislator referenced the rape of an 11-year-old girl by an illegal alien in Georgia, a crime he contends has drawn far less media coverage than the events in Minnesota.
"Not to mention the thousands of illegals who are in this country, who are murdering, raping and assaulting Americans. There are some good ones here for the right reason, but there are not enough of them here that are standing up and saying good things about our country," stated Tuberville. "Just last week, an 11-year-old girl was raped by an illegal in Georgia, while her younger sister was forced to watch. You got to be kidding me."
He added, "These are sick criminals. Where's the media? They're all in Minnesota."
"If we do not enforce our laws and deport these violent criminals, we will lose our country," Tuberville concluded.
President Donald Trump and various White House officials have cited up to $19 billion in fraud tied to Minnesota's social programs and the Somali community.
