The Qatari royal family's plan to gift the Trump administration a new Air Force One luxury jet will "save us money," according to U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn).
Tuberville told CNN on Monday that the current Air Force One is "old."
"If it's legal for him to accept that gift and be able to fly on that for the next four years, or three and a half years. I think it's great. It'll save us money," Tuberville said.
Tuberville told CNN that, as long as it's legal, "free is good."
"You know, we don't have a lot of money right now to buy things like that," he added.
