During an appearance on this week's broadcast of Newsmax TV's "Saturday Agenda," U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) said he anticipated President Donald Trump would ultimately win out over federal district court judges who have paused his administration's efforts to implement executive orders or enforce existing law.
According to Tuberville, the U.S. Supreme Court would ultimately rule in Trump's favor.
"[T]he lawyers that I know — the smart people that are here, I'm not a lawyer, but they all say they're way over their skis on this," he said. "You know, they are supposed to be taking care of their district because they are district judges. But the Democratic Party is now going around finding out all these judges that they can point to on different situations when President Trump comes out with some kind of executive order or some kind of a law that he wants to push. And immediately, they have somebody that goes right after him. There'll be more lawsuits than you can stir with a stick."
Tuberville added, "But guess what? President Trump was elected in the executive branch. He doesn't have to listen to the feds. He will go by the law. And most of it's going to be kicked to the Supreme Court. and they will rule in favor of the Constitution and President Trump. So I'm excited about what President Trump's doing. He could care less what these federal judges say. And we all know that they're woke. They're DEI. And they're so far left that they can't see straight. So, at the end of the day, President Trump's going to win out on this.
