During a Monday episode of Fox News' "The Will Cain Show," U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) spoke about the ongoing push from lawmakers in D.C. to investigate and end strikes on vessels transporting drugs in the Caribbean Sea.

Tuberville told Cain that a large portion of Democrats on Capitol Hill are pushing the issue because of their inherent disdain for law and order.

"I've been up here for going on six years, and I thought I'd seen some unbelievable things. It's getting worse and worse," Tuberville said.

"Drug trafficking and human trafficking. These people do not like law and order. They just don't like it. At the end of the day, it's about protecting American lives. Not protecting Narco terrorists."

According to Tuberville, Democratic accusations of "war crimes" over the attacks have been fed by the party's feelings towards two individuals in particular.

"They hate it because they hate Donald Trump and [U.S. Sec. of War] Pete Hegseth, and they want something done about it. But guess what? They're going to keep right on, keeping on," Tuberville added.

The senator argued that liberals have placed themselves in a precarious position with voters by advocating for the well-being of drug traffickers over Americans.

"They've got their self in a jam on this one, because people across the country are sick and tired of listening to people who are supporting these criminals. It's one thing that they're going to lose the battle here on. They need to be on another subject. I think they will after the first of the year. But they hate the SECDEF and President Trump so much. They do not want to give up on this. Let them keep pounding it."

"President Trump and Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, they're going to keep bombing," added Tuberville.
