During a Friday appearance on Fox News Channel's "The Will Cain Show," U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) called out Democrats in Washington, D.C., for abandoning their traditional voter base in favor of illegal aliens and women who identify with far-left ideologies.
"The Democrats have left the building. They're now called the Socialist globalist Democrats," claimed Tuberville. "It's just unfortunate. They've left their base of middle-class and union workers, and now their new girlfriend is illegal aliens and women. They think all women are going to vote for them."
"I see it every day on the Senate floor. Men are just their second thoughts, and it's just unfortunate. That's not what this country's about."
The discussion then shifted to possible future leaders in the Democratic Party, including current candidate for U.S. Senate in Texas, James Talarico.
"Just look at the clothes that men wear now, all this European stuff," Tuberville said in reference to Talarico. "We're becoming a European country here in America. Men are still hard-nosed in this country. They're gonna stay that way. This, Talarico guy, I don't know where he comes from. He comes from a different planet. He's not the type of person that I'd like to hang out with, or really anybody down here in the South would like to hang out with."
Cain asked the Republican for a message to female voters ahead of nationwide elections.
"We're a party of everybody, but we're a part of our country, our Constitution, law and order," Tuberville responded. "Do you want to go out on the streets and be safe, or do you want to go out and be raped? Look at what's happening in this country. We're losing control of our streets and neighborhoods."
"If you want to be safe, the number one thing the Republican Party believes in right now is law and order," he added.
