Five soldiers were shot in an active shooter situation at Fort Stewart in Georgia on Wednesday, and U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) is blaming the left's "constant demonization" of law enforcement and military for the incident.

There are no reported fatalities or motives yet, but the shooter is reportedly a male soldier who is now in custody.

According to Tuberville, the shooting was a "direct result" of the left's rhetoric.

"Praying for the safety of everyone in Fort Stewart," Tuberville wrote on X. "This is the DIRECT RESULT of the Radical Left’s constant demonization of law enforcement and our military service members."
