Turning Point Action has added U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) to its growing list of endorsements as he vies for the U.S. Senate seat being left open by U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn).
“Barry Moore is a lifelong Coffee County conservative guided by faith, family, hard work, and integrity,” Turning Point Action stated. “A Christian, husband, father, small-business owner, and National Guard veteran, Barry built his business from one garbage truck into a company that creates jobs across Alabama.”
Moore has participated in events hosted by the conservative grassroots organization founded by the late Charlie Kirk.
“Turning Point did incredible work for President Trump in 2024, and I’m honored to have their endorsement,” said Moore. “The inspiring message that Charlie Kirk brought to college campuses around the country energized a generation of young conservatives, who played a major role in President Trump’s most recent victory.
”After the senseless murder of Charlie Kirk by a deranged leftist, Turning Point’s movement only grew. His love of Christ inspired millions; his activism won elections. I look forward to working with Turning Point Action in Alabama and around the country to support President Trump, win the midterms, and take back America.”
Turning Point Action pointed to Moore’s record in Washington, D.C.
“In Congress, he has earned a reputation as a true conservative fighter—rated Alabama’s most conservative member by CPAC—who cuts taxes, defends military families and veterans, secures the border, and stands up to Washington’s status quo,” the nonprofit stated. “Rooted in Alabama values, Barry Moore is committed to fighting for working families and putting America first.”
The Republican slate for Tuberville’s seat is stacked. Moore is challenged by Attorney General Steve Marshall, former Navy SEAL and Covenant Rescue Group founder Jared Hudson, U.S. Navy Reserve captain and former Trump National Security advisor Morgan Murphy, businessman, farmer and Patriot Fueling Centers owner Rodney Walker, two-time U.S. Navy submarine commander Seth Burton and cardiac surgeon Dr. Dale Shelton Deas, Jr.
Tuberville is running for Alabama governor.
The primary election is on May 19.
