UPDATE: Charlie Kirk assassinated, President Trump confirms — Suspect not in custody
The founder and CEO of the most-watched conservative platform in Alabama has been shot.
Charlie Kirk, of Turning Point USA, was gunned down while speaking at an outdoor event in Utah. The shooting was caught on camera.

U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) posted on X, "Everyone please pray with Heather and I for Charlie Kirk who was just shot at an event in Utah."
U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) wrote on X, "Praying for my friend, [Charlie Kirk]."
Witnesses at Utah Valley University said Kirk was shot in the neck.
Kirk's condition is unknown.
Following news of the shooting, Gov. Kay Ivey posted on social media, "Alabama is praying for @charliekirk11!"
