Montgomery Police arrested two separate individuals on Thursday in connection with two separate murders earlier this year, with one suspect including a 19-year-old male.
The Montgomery Police Department announced the Thursday arrests and criminal charges of Ja'Kyeri McCovery, 19, of Montgomery, and Devondrick Jones, 35, also of Montgomery.
McCovery is charged with Capital Murder and two counts of Robbery. He was identified as the suspect in the November 22nd shooting death of Marcelino Hernandez, 33, of Montgomery.
McCovery was transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility, where he was held without bond.
Jones is charged with capital murder on the December 9 shooting death of Courtney Gunn, 26, of Montgomery. He is likewise being held at the Montgomery County Detention Center with no bond.
