On Monday, United Launch Alliance (ULA) president and CEO Tory Bruno resigned from the company.
Before taking the leadership position with ULA, Bruno served as president of Lockheed Martin Strategic and Missile Defense Systems. He has worked on space and missile programs for 30 years.
Lockheed Martin, which operates ULA as a joint venture in partnership with Boeing, announced Bruno's resignation and thanked him for his time with the company.

Bruno, who guided ULA for 12 years, expressed appreciation for having the chance to lead.
