The University of Alabama's athletic program is the ninth-most valuable in the country.

The University of Alabama's athletic program is worth $1.09 billion in 2025, according to CNBC. The program's value has increased by 11% since 2024. Five of the top 10 most valuable programs are in the SEC.

Auburn University ranked 22nd with a worth of $810 million in 2025, up 5% since last year.

"CNBC's 75 most valuable athletic programs for 2025 are worth a combined $51.22 billion, 13% more than the value of the top 75 in last year's rankings. This year's combined programs had aggregate revenue of $11.84 billion in fiscal 2024, 8% more than 2024′s programs posted the previous year, according to the Department of Education's Equity in Athletics Data Analysis and the Knight-Newhouse database," according to the report.

Topping the list was the University of Texas, valued at $1.48 billion, followed by Ohio State University at $1.35 billion and Texas A&M at $1.32 billion. The University of Georgia and University of Michigan, valued at $1.16 billion each, round out the top five.
