U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), founding chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, endorsed U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) for U.S. Senate on Tuesday.

Alabama has an open Senate seat in 2026, as U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) is running for governor rather than seeking re-election.

“Barry Moore is a tested conservative champion,” Jordan said. “He will fight for our principles, help accomplish the Trump agenda, and keep our Nation strong. Barry is just the type of leader we need in the Senate to stand up against the Radical Left.”

Moore said, “I’m honored to have Jim Jordan’s support.”

“For years, he has been one of my closest allies and our conservative rock in the U.S. House,” he added. “He always stands up for what’s right, he’s not a weathervane politician, and he knows I’m not either. I look forward to continuing to work with him to achieve President Trump’s MAGA Agenda in the Senate.”
