Patriotism and love for Jesus were on fire, along with hundreds of candles at a vigil Saturday night in Foley's Heritage Park.

The legacy of the late Charlie Kirk was honored, with memories of his words and appreciation of his message.

Local pastors spoke and offered worship songs, including "I Can Only Imagine" and "Amazing Grace." The crowd reacted with applause and chanted, "Charlie! Charlie! Charlie," followed by, "U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.!"

Pastors encouraged the community to come together in love and to continue spreading God's word to young people, as Kirk did with Turning Point USA, which he founded.

At the end of the program, organizers played Erika Kirk's speech, reminding Christians that her husband's work is not finished.

Dakota Spann, who worked for two days putting the vigil together, streamed the video live.
