Even though President Joe Biden delivered an hour-and-seven-minute campaign speech for his State of the Union address on Thursday night, the writers at NBC's "Saturday Night Live" chose to focus on mocking U.S. Sen. Katie Britt (R-Montgomery) for her State of the Union response for the show's cold open this week.
The part of Britt was played by Scarlett Johansson, who is married to SNL "Weekend Update" co-anchor Colin Jost.
"I'm a wife, a mother and the craziest bitch in the Target parking lot," Johansson's Britt said. "I'm worried about the future of our children and this is why I've invited you into this strange, empty kitchen. Because Republicans wanted me to appeal to women voters and women love kitchen."
