Dozens of tornadoes hit Alabama over the weekend, leaving damage in 52 of the state's 67 counties.
Dramatic video shows an EF2 tornado in Gordo ripping multiple chicken houses to shreds and blowing large pieces of the buildings off into the distance.
Mitchell Norred, who captured the video, told Storyful he was about to take shelter from the storm when he saw the winds coming towards the Brown Family Farm.
“It was less than 100 yards from me. At the end of the video when the camera moves it was the wind knocking me back,” Norred told the outlet.
