Ron Burkett, of Trussville, is known for his pressure washing creations. For years, Burkett has made art out of a cleaning project. He has created patriotic driveway art for the Fourth of July, a manger scene for Christmas, and a wildlife scene during the COVID-19 quarantine.
But for America’s 250th birthday, Burkett took his talents to a new level with yard art.
Using a string trimmer, Burkett created a detailed “USA 250” scene with an eagle and stars in his front yard. His 2025 Statue of Liberty driveway sketch can still be seen from the skies. The 52-foot wingspan of the eagle stretches across the yard.
Burkett told 1819 News he creates the art in hopes of inspiring other Americans to put their differences aside and come together for the love of country. He posted a video on YouTube showing the project take shape.
