No. 11 Alabama baseball dropped a second straight weekend series with a series loss against No. 4 Texas.
The Crimson Tide did their best to try and salvage the series, taking the finale on Sunday to avoid a second straight sweep. Sunday’s win was the first win for Alabama over Texas since 1904 and put an end to their five-game SEC losing streak.
Alabama drops to 28-13 overall and 9-9 in the SEC after dropping two of three games to the Longhorns.
Here is a recap of the weekend.

Mitchell settled in from there, tossing 1.2 scoreless innings and striking out one in his six-batter appearance.
