The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal stabbing that claimed the life of a woman Sunday.
The incident occurred just before 9 p.m. on Augustine Drive in Belforest.
Deputies arrived on the scene where the woman and a man were found suffering from injuries. Medical personnel rendered aid but the woman succumbed to her injuries. The man was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
A juvenile suspect was charged with murder and attempted murder. The identity of the juvenile is being withheld. Detectives have not released the identity of the victims.
The incident is believed to be domestic in nature.
