The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is investigating a single-vessel crash on Lake Demopolis.
The boat crashed just before 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Bruce R. Kornegay, 70, was ejected from the 2019 Bass Tracker he was operating. After he was ejected, he was struck by the vessel. Kornegay was transported to Whitfield Regional Hospital, where he died.
ALEA said the incident occurred near the Tombigbee River in Marengo County.
