The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit made an arrest in connection with the shooting death of two sisters and the injury of a male teen.

Kaliyah Houston, 20, and her 16-year-old sister were found shot to death in Woodlawn Manor, just before midnight Monday. A 17-year-old male was also injured. He is expected to survive.

Police arrested Keshawn Jermichael Woods, 19. Woods, who was reportedly living in the home, is charged with capital murder and attempted murder.

Investigators believe Woods opened fire after an argument in the home. Small children and an infant were present but not injured, police said.

The 17-year-old victim was able to flee the scene and call for help.

Woods is in the Tuscaloosa County Jail with no bond.
