Federal Highway Administrator Shailen Bhatt was in Mobile Monday with other federal, state and local dignitaries to celebrate the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (USDOT) $550 million contribution to the Mobile River Bridge and Bayway project. Gov. Kay Ivey was on hand for the event.
The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) awarded a $550 million discretionary grant for the Mobile River Bridge and Bayway project. The grant is the second-largest to ever be awarded from the Bridge Investment program.
