The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) has announced plans to follow federal guidelines in allowing COVID-19 vaccinations for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Concerned Doctors of Alabama are questioning CDC guidance that children as young as 5 received the COVID-19 vaccination and a booster shot as soon as five months later. They have requested a meeting with state health officer Dr. Scott Harris and are urging the Alabama Department of Public Health to cease recent guidance recommending the booster shot in minors.
