The Alabama House of Representatives advanced legislation for the second year in a row to mandate post-election audits in statewide elections on Tuesday.
The Alabama House of Representatives will tackle legislation mandating post-election audits when it returns from break on Tuesday, voting on the amended bill that is seeking final passage for the third year in a row.

For the third year in a row, the House Ways and Mean General Fund Committee voted to advance a bill by State Rep. Debbie Wood (R-Valley) requiring probate judges in each county to conduct a post-election audit after every county and statewide general election.
