
North Alabama native and founder of the first Moms for Liberty chapter in Alabama, Emily Jones, defeated William Matthews in Tuesday's State Board of Education Place 8 Republican runoff.

The Alabama Farmers Federation (ALFA) endorsed Emily Jones on Thursday for State Board of Education, Place 8.

Following the Alabama Board of Education Place 8 GOP primary, chair and founder of the Madison County chapter of Moms for Liberty, Emily Jones, is now headed to a runoff election against runner-up William Matthews.

Kolowski took a shot at Republican Place 8 candidate and parental rights defender Emily Jones, as well as the conservative political organization, Moms for Liberty, calling it a "White Christian Nationalist Extremist group."
