Central Alabama Water votes to end Jones Group contract due to ‘conflict’ with City of Birmingham; Fine Geddie safe for now

The Central Alabama Water Board voted Monday evening to cancel the contract of one of its two contract lobbyists, the Jones Group. Board member Sheila Tyson argued that both lobby firms should be fired.
