Marijuana company promises jobs to the people of Henagar

Anejos Logistics wants to build a facility to grow and process medical marijuana for the state's inaugural medical marijuana program. The company hopes to bring 100 to 200 jobs to Henager in Dekalb County.

Town of Henagar considering marijuana industry

The citizens of Henager, in Dekalb County, will be the first community in Alabama to hold a public informational session on the opportunity to welcome the marijuana industry. The meeting is at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Siting a legal marijuana facility requires approval of the city council and a license from the state.
