In a year with a Republican president, a Republican Senate, and a Republican House of Representatives, Republicans have only passed SIX pieces of legislation since Inauguration Day. For the record, I did think of one way congressional Republicans are currently useful – they serve as a bad example.

The Alabama House Republican caucus has ratified its “Alabama Values” legislative agenda in the upcoming session, prioritizing specific conservative initiatives for the state’s Republican supermajority to push in 2025.

With just days until the new Congress is sworn in, which should give Republicans control of the U.S. House chamber, plans for the new GOP majority are starting to take shape.
