On Tuesday, Gov. Kay Ivey voiced her "confidence" in embattled Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission director John McMillan.
The Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission adopted rules and regulations for the new Alabama medical marijuana industry at the Commission's August meeting.
Although the legislature voted to make so-called medical cannabis available in May 2021, Alabamians will still have to wait a bit until cannabis products are available for legal use.

I don’t believe there should be anonymity,” said Alabama Medical Cannabis Commissioner Loree Skelton on the proposal to award Metric the seed to sale tracking system contract for the state's cannabis program.
