Toll Road Authority advances I-10 Mobile River Bridge and Bayway project

Members of the Alabama Toll Road, Bridge and Tunnel Authority approved starting negotiations with two joint venture groups that submitted proposals for building and design of the Mobile River Bridge and Bayway project.

The Mobile and Eastern Shore Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) unanimously approved moving forward with a $2.7 billion Mobile River Bridge and Bayway proposal unveiled by the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) in June.
