
Prichard's collapsing infrastructure has led to nearly 50 million gallons of raw sewage spills over the past three years. Now, there is a call to the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) to step in.

The Mobile Baykeeper is hosting a town hall on the Prichard water crisis, along with the We Matter Community Association, to update residents on the outdated infrastructure and operational failures of the Prichard Water Works and Sewer Board (PWWSB).

The Mobile County Health Department is warning Prichard area residents that standing water could be unsanitary after thousands of gallons of sewer water overflowed due to recent rain.
