The Alabama Senate unanimously passed a bill by State Rep. Leigh Hulsey (R-Helena) on Thursday that would make it a felony for church clergy to have sexual interactions with someone under 19 years old.
A bill that would allow periodic polygraphs as part of a sex offender treatment has been filed in the Alabama House of Representatives.
State Rep. Kerry Underwood (R-Tuscumbia) has filed legislation to prohibit sex offenders from being employed or volunteering as first responders.
