Wedowee Mayor Tim Coe responded to concerns with the Wedowee Utilities Board after a preliminary audit revealed several issues with bookkeeping and the handling of funds. The audit flagged possible “serious internal control weaknesses, financial mismanagement, compliance violations and governance issues.”
