A rainy morning marked the 235th birthday of the U.S. Coast Guard at the USS Alabama Battleship Park.

Monday, Aug. 4 is the 235th birthday of the U.S. Coast Guard. A wreath-laying for guard who gave their lives will be at the USS Alabama Park.

Fireworks, food, fun and music will be at the USS Alabama Park on Friday, July 4. No ticket required. A charge for parking.

Spring 2024 is blooming with historical reenactments and in-person history lessons at four Alabama sites.

The closest thing the state has to an official Valentine’s event is on Friday, February 9 at the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park.
